New Sub-Division Map for 2009
Attached below is the new Sub-Division Map for Alazan Costa Rica.
The 2009 map reflects a new numbering system and lot allocation for the project. In 2008, Rio Mar Partners added 4 more lots to our inventory - Lot #16, #17, #19 and #20.
Please be advised that the Catastro National does not use this numbering system. Your individual lot registration number (called the "P" number) has not been changed. The lot number change is for internal demonstration and marketing purposes.

Guard House Residence - Building Permit Issued
Hello Alazan HOA -
Thanks to the effort of our Project Administrator Gerardo Godinez, we have been issued a valid building permit for our Guard House Residence in the Alazan meadow.
The house was designed by Alazan HOA Board Member Jim Nowlen. The structure features two floors. The first floor is designed for HOA storage and will house the Alazan water pump and primary water staging tanks. The second floor will be a 2 bedroom 1 bath house for our new guard and family. We begin construction in January 2009 and expect to be finished by April.
Rio Mar Partners will finance the construction of the Residence and the Alazan HOA will pay for the ongoing salary of the Guard. The 2009 Alazan HOA budget contins a line item for the guard salary.

Meadow House Floods - Corrective Actions Taken
Parrita River Floods Again
After two days of intense rain, the Parrita River once again is flooding. Many neighborhoods are flooded and many homes have water inside. The Parrita River Bridge was shut down for most of Monday. Cell service was down. The internet was down.
The ASADA drinking water system has gone down again. Luckily, we have about 10,000 liters in storage in Alazan tanks.
Our roads suffered virtually no damage. However our employee Mayo's house was flooded out (see additional posts).
